The Director General CLTC Mr. Eniade Adesoji Mni in company of DCP Afegbua ( Member CLTC governing board) today July 2nd paid a training advocacy visit to the Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), wudil- Kano: The CLTC team was recieved by the Commandant POLAC; AIG Sadiq I. Abubakar and his team. The DG informed the leadership of the Academy that the visit was to appreciate the partnership of the Academy with CLTC over the years, cement the existing relationship and as well canvass for the extension of training opportunities offered by the two Agencies to more personnel of the Nigerian Police. The DG bemoaned the decline in patriotism and National consciousness by the Citizenry, noting that while there is a serious emphasis on leadership, with public debate focusing on the need for good governance and evidently neglecting responsible Citizenship, observing that the thrust of good governance is tripod vis-a-vis good Citizenship and responsible Leadership which equals good governance. He declared the intention of the Centre to educate the Citizens on the need to obey constituted authority, distinguishing between power and authority and defining authority as power backed by law.
