The DG, CLTC, Adesoji Eniade mni, paid a courtesy/advocacy visit to His Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Gombe State today 26th July, 2023.
During the visit, the DG solicited for the support of the Gombe State Government for the activities of the Centre and for the State to give priority to the training of the youth population in the State.
He further advocated for the facilitation of the release of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre facility built by the Gombe State Government to the Centre so that it can commence operations as quickly as possible.
In his response, the Deputy Governor appreciated the DG for the visit and expressed happiness at the proposal of the Centre to focus on the training of the youth population in the State. He agreed that such training will help mould their character positively if it is done before they developed a rigid mindset.
He assured that the Gombe State Government will give the necessary support to the Centre to enable it eradicate the various vices prevalent among the youthful population.
He further assured that the facility being built by the State Government will be handed over to the Centre to manage when it is completed.
Highlights of the visit was the presentation of the Centre’s plaque to HE, the Deputy Governor and his decoration with the Centre’s prestigious blue Badge.
